This time I wanted to learn more about sales. The author suggests that every 10th economically active person is in sales toady. 


People work in direct or in indirect sales. Those who do not work directly in sales are usually taking care of tasks which lead to sales later on.


Some sales jobs have a bad reputation. But to sell well means to serve well.



What did I learn?


📣 Extroverts do not make the best salesmen. The best salesmen make people who are somehow in between on the spectrum of extroverts and introverts.


📣 In order to sell well you need to:

Slow down and shut up

Be a good listener 

Give room to an amazing silence

📣 A good pitch helps to achieve your goals in just any area of your life.


📣 Formulating a sales pitch can be helpful for lawyers while attempting to win a trial.


📣 If you are in doubt and you are not sure, if you can do something ask yourself Bob Builder’s question: “Can I do it?¨ Then answer to yourself. You are likely to see reasons, why you can do it rather that you cannot.


📣 Learn to overcome the objections by asking questions.


📣 Rhyme can enhance your argument while selling or presenting.


📣 Acting and sales have loads in common. Both salesmen and actors are going out there not knowing how the other party is going to react. They face a loads of rejection od daily basis.


How to pitch:




This book is not bad, ti will teach you just about anything what they will teach you in any sales based company. The theory is beautiful, but I recommend to get a more hands on experience when attempting to sell something.
